The Vial for Life Program is now available in Rothesay and
Quispamsis. Cst. Shawn Coughlan of the Rothesay Regional Police, was instrumental
in making the program a reality for residents of the Kennebecasis Valley.
Cst. Coughlan believes that almost every household in the area can use the
Vial for Life Program for one reason or another. Vial for life participants
place a specially marked vial in the refrigerator. The vial contains an information
sheet which lists the person’s medical conditions, allergies and illnesses.
A sticker with the name of the program is also provided and should be placed
at the entrance of a participant’s home. In Quispamsis and Rothesay, residents
may pick up their Vials for Life at one of the Community Offices - Rothesay
(83 Hampton Road), Wells (126 French Village Road above the Quik Mart) or
Quispamsis (Parkside Drive, Mobile Home Park). The offices will be open every
Wednesday evening between 6pm and 9pm. Cst. Coughlan would like to thank both
Shoppers Drug Mart and KV Drugs for their generous donation of 800 vials.
The service is free of charge.
